Pre care tips prior to tattoo reduction

​

- Avoid sun and keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight.

- Regularly apply SPF to the area up to 4 weeks prior.

-We can not proceed with this treatment if you are pregnant or Breastfeeding.

-You can not get another tattoo whilst doing tattoo removal sessions. 

-We can not proceed if you get keloid scaring.

- Avoid waxing up to 2 weeks prior.

- Shave the area 24 hours prior to treatment.

- Ensure no fitted clothing is worn on the area where the tattoo is being removed.

- We suggest arriving with loose fitting clothing to prevent rubbing or irritation after treatment.

- Topical Anaesthetic can be applied to numb the surface or body part prior to treatment.

- We recommend applying the topical anaesthetic at least 1 hour before treatment.

you can purchase a clinical strength topical anaesthetic cream over the counter or we apply a topical anaesthetic prior to your treatment for an additional $25.

Post care instructions

 

- Avoid sun and keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight.

-Do not shave post treatment if crusting or blistering is evident. 

-Wash the area gently with soap and water, making sure not to soak it, showers are fine.

- Regularly apply barrier cream or SPF 30+ to the area up to 4 weeks prior.

- Reduce/stop smoking up to 4 weeks prior/after

- Avoid waxing and/or use of chemical depilatories to the area up to 2 weeksAfter

- Ensure no fitted clothing is worn on the area where the tattoo is being removed for 2-3 after

- Please avoid picking at the scabs as you could cause permanent scarring.

- No swimming/ saunas/ heavy sweating/ tanning 48 hours post treatment. 

-Keep covered for 1-3 days so no infection is caused.
