What to expect at your skin needling appointment:
Your appointment starts with a double cleanse and numbing cream if required, so you're comfortable from the get go. Your therapist then works the needling device across your skin in sections, infusing a hydrating serum plus a corrective serum chosen for your skin. That's your therapist picking from Vitamin A, Vitamin C or Calmwise, depending on what your skin needs most.
Most clients describe it as a light scratching sensation, nothing like what you're imagining. And here's the truth: skin needling shouldn't be super painful. If it is, the wrong technique is being used. In the right hands, it's completely manageable.
We finish with soothing, skin-loving serums to kickstart your recovery.

You'll be red for 24 to 48 hours, similar to mild sunburn. Most clients are back to work and normal life the next day. We'll send you home with full aftercare instructions so you know exactly what to do.
And yes queens, you can wear makeup, as long as it's mineral. We recommend our Guiya mineral range because it's gentle enough to sit on freshly needled skin without clogging those micro-channels. Even better, we can pop some on for you straight after your treatment, so you walk out feeling fresh, not flushed.

You don't have to choose between the two, it just comes down to timing.
You can have skin needling any day leading up to your cosmetic injections, or even on the same day, as long as your skin needling is done first, before your injectables.
Already had your injections or filler? Just wait 2 weeks before your skin needling appointment so everything has settled perfectly into place.
Easy rule to remember: needling before injections, any time. Needling after injections, give it 2 weeks.
