Yes. The treated area will need to be protected and kept well moisturised while it heals. Healing time can vary depending on whether a skin tag or a mole is removed.
Skin tags usually heal within a few days, while mole removal can take a few weeks to fully heal. During this time, we recommend avoiding friction, sun exposure, and picking at the area to allow for the best possible result.
We will provide you with clear aftercare advice to support proper healing and minimise any risk of scarring.

For mole removal, we can apply a numbing agent prior to treatment to keep you as comfortable as possible. Sensation levels vary from person to person, but overall the procedure is very manageable and over quickly.
